Lacy's Place

The place was perfect! Despite the somewhat late hour of our arrival we found a restaurant and slipped two bottles of wine! We had a nice night in comfortable beds with impeccable bedding! We left early this morning because a long road was waiting for us!

A truly wonderful little find. So quite and private. Easy walk straight into town.

What a gem! Loved the cheerful lemons and orchids as a special touch. Great location, great place, great host!

This was a really lovely little house to stay in. It's comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchenware, linen and towels are high quality. Most of all we truly appreciated the metal kettle (most places have the cheap plastic ones). Small details like that make a big difference. Thank you for the care you put into preparing this place for us Amelia.

Lovely stay at a convenient yet quiet place. All amenities as described. Amelia was very helpful with her proactive communication. The house entrance is tricky to find but with proactive instructions from Amelia, all were easy.

A really nice pad. spacious, light, comfy and a nice deck / garden area for breakfast or a cuppa. We were there on a Friday night / Saturday and was super quiet. If you were there mid week and during school times it may be a bit nosier as there is a school nearby.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The property is close to everything, well appointed and beautifully maintained. The king size bed was great!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and everything we needed was provided. It’s a short work to the Main Street and foreshore area. It felt private and quiet. I would happily stay here again.

Simply amazing, everything the highest quality. After some not-so-great Air B&B experiences, this restored some confidence.

Amelia was very helpful & responsive in terms of communication. She even provided toys for my 15 months old toddler. Highly recommended

We had a great two night stay at Lacy’s Place. Amelia was very responsive and came to our rescue when our original accommodation cancelled and we didn’t find out til we arrived in Mallacoota. Amelia graciously changed her plans to get Lacy’s ready for us. It was a great place to stay and walking distance to the Main Street and water front.

Immaculate home/unit. Wow, the attention to detail was just amazing. Lovely bedding, lovely decor, lovely gardens…. it really did feel like home away from home. It was clean, fresh and very comfortable. I highly highly recommend this stay. I wish my family could have stayed longer in this beautiful town. We will be back. Welk done Amelia - the unit and your detail is just amazing!

Beautifully presented, clean and neat home. Had everything we needed (including Pyrex microwave dishes which is VERY rare). Easy walk to shops, foreshore and forest walks. Nice small contained yard for our doggo. Overall a very relaxing stay.

Amelia has prepared the place with thoughtfulness and effort. We were pleasantly surprised that the floor and bedrooms were meticulously clean as the previous place we stayed at wasn't. We loved the interior decor and colour palette; so soothing and cosy with a touch of modern elegance. The bathroom ammeneties were greatly appreciated as well. We would have loved to stay for a few more nights if time had permitted, but we would definitely be back if we travelled to the area again!

LACY’S place is a real home away from home. Beautifully decorated & super clean. Loved the extras i.e., Tim tams in the fridge, lemons, daffodils… gorgeous touches. Dogs loved the garden & deck - all very secure. Light, bright & cosy. Mallacoota is beautiful with so much on offer. We hired a boat & went out on the estuary. There are some amazing walks. The views are stunning all round. Such an amazing restoration given the devastating fires. Highly recommend..!

Wonderfull place, beautifully kept with everything you need.

Amelia was by far one of the best host I have ever delt with she went out of her way to accommodate myself and my partner even organised some flowers, balloons and a box of chocolates to surprise my partner as it was her birthday. The place was immaculate with so much attention to detail it had everything we needed, was styled beautifully and extremely comfortable. Woukd recommend Amelia's place to anyone travelling to Mallacoota. Will definitely be back to stay at Amelia's place again. A+++++

Thank You Amelia, your cottage was amazing. On our Mother & Daughter trip, we needed 2 bedrooms, a kitchen to do our own cooking and somewhere to chill out after a day on the road.

Place was absolutely perfect for me and my two kids. Private space outside to read, nicely appointed, crisp linens and very clean. Loved being able to walk to town and pier. Saw kangaroos at the park.

We were very haoppy with our stay here. Communications were very prompt and helpful, the unit very clean and fresh. Close to shops and restaurant. Would definitely stay again

My stay was enjoyable and very comfortable, peaceful and quiet. As a woman travelling alone with my dog, we both felt safe and secure during our stay. Highly recommend staying here, if you're looking for a stopover during a long road trip along the coast.

Very comfortable accommodation

Amelia was responsive through the app and the place was private and quiet! The living area was comfortable to hang out in. I really appreciated Amelia contacting me in advance about check in time so she could turn on the AC and fan on in advance. We found the master bedroom to be quite hot even with the fan on.

We had a lovely stay. Walking distance to the pub which had great meals.

A cute and comfortable place to stay!

The property was clean and located within walking distance of all amenities in Mallacoota. Unfortunately the property had a water leak during our stay and had to be switched off. This left us without shower and toilet etc. Amelia did everything she could and offered us an alternate property for the night however given the weather and the time to move we stayed. They dropped us bottled water and provided a slight refund for the inconvenience. Amelia was very apologetic and helpful.
